halo- halo for dessert

Philippines' favorite summer dessert made it to Top Chef. In top chef episode this week one contestant Dale made halo halo. Of course, Dale put his own spin on it to make it Top Chef material. He did it so well that the judge chose it as one of his favorites. Halo-halo is a popular Filipino dessert that is a mixture of shaved ice and milk to which are added various boiled sweet beans and fruits, and served cold in a tall glass or bowl. It is one of my favorite desert too!! anyway happy Monday!
